One of my favourite w-end destinations in the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia is the stunning Jervis Bay, about a 2.5-hour drive south of Sydney.

With the remarkable white powder sand beaches, lagoons, creeks and coves are perfect for all types of water sports, swimming, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and diving.

 

Jervis Bay is surrounded by villages that offer from camping to luxury high end hotel accommodation, world class restaurants, bars, w-end markets, shopping, museum and art galleries. The lovely towns and villages of Kangaroo Valley, Nowra, Berry and Ulladulla are all the same distance away.

Other activities not to be missed are bush walking, a visit to indigenous sites, whale/dolphin watching, eating out and watch the glorious sunset with a glass of wine in one’s hand.

With so many relaxing activities to do, Jervis Bay is truly a great place to unwind and get your batteries recharged.
