Filipino Food Movement Australia celebrates April 2021 FILIPINO FOOD MONTH

The Filipino Food Movement Australia Inc. will present a series of events celebrating Filipino Food Month in April 2021. In partnership with Filipino Food Month in Manila and the Philippine Culinary Movement founded by Jam Melchor.

The events are online focussed and maximising on the engagement in social media channels Instagram and Facebook. Close to 65 Filipino food businesses in Australia will be joining the social media campaign with posters promoted all throughout April.

The following are the planned events for April 2021 Filipino Food Month:

1 April – Cook da Book showcasing Filipino dishes from cookbook authors Amy Besa and Romy Dorotan, Memories from Philippine Kitchens

10 April – Sahog @ Home via IGTV

17 April – Sahog Talks broadcasting on Facebook Live hosted by Fil-Australian writer Pauline Morrissey and special guests ranging from restaurant / business owners, food bloggers and community members

18 April – Sahog @ Home via IGTV featuring chef Valentine Costuna.

21 April – Cook da Book showcasing Filipino dishes from cookbook author Nicole Ponseca, I am Filipino

24 April – Filipino Food Month Long Lunch with entertainment, talk and prizes at Pamana Restaurant Chatswood
