A masterclass conducted by resident Wine Educator Huon Hooke,  and visiting wine maker Phil Lehmann from Eden Valley, kicked off the morning followed by a Riesling tasting in the afternoon. An amazing line up of rieslings were offered for tasting including the Gold and Trophy Award winners from the 2016 Canberra Riesling Challenge.

A total of 15 tables showcased a selection for tasting from fresh and aromatic to the dry and semi sweet Rieslings.

Riesling is the real winelover’s wine and is the best white varietal for ageing. Recommended food pairing for this white varietal includes oysters, cheese, green olives and spicy foods.
